"2 Ball Forward"
Zhineng TaiJi Ball 2 uses 2 balls to practice spiral movements. Pushing forward, feel the spiral force in your arms. The lead comes from the elbow. Pulling in, feel the drawing and twisting silk force. On the next level, practice internal Qi by tucking in your tail bone, moving forward from the tailbone, to the sacrum, lumbar, up the spine to your shoulder, elbow, arm and fingers. Keep the eye on the ball and your mental attention inside your body watching each part of your body moving, as you push the balls forward and pull backward. The mind body connection is an absolutely relaxing experience as you gather and harness Qi deep inside your body.
"2 Ball Crossover Spiral"
On top of the pushing force spiral and the drawing-in silk force, the balls crossover palm over palm. Note that all the joints in the body move. The 3 joints in your arm, 3 joints in your spine and 3 joints in your legs. This is excellent gongfu for practicing internal Qi.
"Single Arm Outward Spiral"
Single arm spiral movements help to further ‘open up’ the joints in your body. The body gains more flexibility, agility and pliability. When one part of the body moves, all parts move with it. This is the conscious movement of the body in its entirety. As you progress in your practice, bring the center of gravity lower to the ground.
"Single Arm Inward Spiral"
Single arm inward spiral moves all the joints in the opposite direction giving the body balance. Master the inward and outward spiral movements. The next task will be 2 arms, outward and inward spiral.
